Cameo Candle
Boysmells, CAMEO is an epic floral scent, one that combines strength and softness, the elusive virtues of grace, difficult to find in a not-always-kind world. The spice of crystallized ginger, the warmth of vanilla, and the grounding sacred feminine of rose act as conduits for compassion. Inspired by Wedgwood porcelain and the Andy Warhol polaroid of Dolly Parton, CAMEO is absurdly pretty, to a subversive degree. Named after the 18th-century stoneware pendants, depicting portraits in profile, Cameo evokes the pastel tones of blue and pink typical of the Neoclassical style.
Fabric & Care:
Coconut and beeswax blend with three braided cotton wicks, in a glossy slipper pink glass tumbler with a pink label. Comes in an embossed matte pink carton.
Trim: Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4” for a clean and smoke-free burn.
Burn: On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — A minimum of 3 hours. There will be some “wax wall hanging,” but that’s normal. For all burns, never let it go on for more than 4 hours.
Center: Ensure the wick is centred. After each burn, adjust the wick while the wax is still molten.
Upcycle: When a 1/4” of wax is left in your candle, it’s time to upcycle the glass.
Always remove the remaining wax. Pro cleaning tip — put the candle in the freezer until the wax is frozen, then said wax should pop out easily.
